All Change!

If there’s one thing we can be guaranteed in life, it’s change.

After almost three years at Ooni Pizza Ovens, it’s now time for a new chapter. I’m genuinely excited about this next chapter in my career.

Over the past three years I’ve grown a lot personally, and experienced some great things. Sure, it hasn’t all been a walk in the park, but here are some of my key learnings:

• Embrace Change: Successful companies look forward, anticipate change, adapt and innovate.
• Processes Matter: Teams thrive where they know what is expected of them. A clear process, with clear ways of working help everyone perform better.
• Work Collaboratively: Working together is easier than ever. Using online tools to share project information keeps everyone informed and provides an opportunity to share information that could be useful.
• Coaching is Powerful: Leadership is not about telling people what to do or just answering their questions. Good leadership comes from inspiring individuals to find answers to the questions they have. Coaching a team is powerful and a great privilege.
• Understand Markets: Very few companies have a one-size fits all approach. Developing a deep understanding of market dynamics and consumer needs helps you develop the right proposition for success.
• Develop Partnerships: Strategic partnership with suppliers and customers are the foundation for success. Nurture them.
• Adapt your Strategy: No strategy is carved in stone. Adapt it as things change.
• Community: A modern workplace is a community of individuals who all have stories to share and relationships to build. Communities need care.
